A Wild, Wooly Tale

Snake River Acres began in 2007 with 7 sheep and has since evolved into a heritage flock of 200 Lincoln Longwool ewes. The sheep are tended by the Froehlich Family outside of Grasston, Minnesota. What We Do

Snake River Acres is a family-owned farm located outside of Grasston, Minnesota. We are dedicated to raising happy, healthy sheep with high-quality fleeces while striving for excellence through innovation and sustainability. Our heritage breed is raised for both their wool and meat. We strive to work with our farm’s natural environment to offer the highest quality products. We can be found attending various fiber festivals such as Shepherd’s Harvest, showing at the Minnesota State Fair, and other events in Minnesota throughout the year.
